Here's a late last-minute one, but the Skidmarxx guys are putting on a double-feature Bike-In Movie out at the Shitpit, and they're hosting a ride beforehand that meets at the Ped Bridge:

Be at the bridge at 8pm for the ride, or over at that east side hovel near 7th and Webberville. They're gonna be taking donations to benefit Surely, yet another cyclist to be recently injured in a collision. Fuck cars! Seriously.
BLBC presents: Bike-in movie ride and... movie!
The local chapter of the Black Label Bike Club has been hosting regular bike-in movies this year, every Sunday evening with a bike ride precluding the screening:
7:00pm on the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge. Look for the freak bikes.
BLBC presents: Bike-in Movies EVERY SUNDAY!
I found out about this last week as our crews crossed paths at Uncle Billy's, but the local chapter of the Black Label Bike Club has decided to put on regular Sunday evening Bike-In movies out in East Austin, and they're leading a ride from the Ped Bridge at 7p to get there:
These cats have put on a shit-ton of wild and crazy events over the past couple years including movies, alleycats, tall bike jousts, booze cruises, and the like. I'm glad to see 'em back at it with some bike-in movies, which Austin has been sorely missing since last year. Want to check out a flick fo' free? Get in on this!
POSTPONED: The Revival film premiere and ALLEYCAT RACE!
Sorry folks, it turns out that Hot Mama's is temporarily closed, so this event is being postponed until better weather and a different venue present themselves. Stay tuned for more info as that time draws near.
Check it out all y'all fixters, alleycat racers, tricksters and movie buffs; the folks behind the newly-revived ATXFixed blog are hosting a movie premiere AND alleycat this Saturday night at Hot Mama's Espresso Bar on East 6th Street.
Be there at 7 for the race or 8 for the movie. Tricks and shit happen afterward. It'll be five bones to race, but the rest of the night happens FO' FREE!
Fast Folks Cyclery presents: London-to-Paris Bike-in Movie at Uncle Billy's!
Devin from Fast Folks Cyclery just sent me a flyer for a Bike Movie Premiere happening at Uncle Billy's Brew & Que in about two weeks:
The movie starts at 8pm at Billy's, but there'll be a group ride departing from Fast Folks at around 7pm if you want to do some cruising before the flick. There'll also be Gold Sprints after with a lot of crazy shit being given away including a frame and CASH MONEY. Thanks for keeping us in the loop Devin.
Wheel to Reel presents: Triplets of Belleville Bike-in Movie - TONIGHT!
There's a bike-in movie event happening tonight at Co-LAB (613 Allen St), where they'll be showing The Triplets of Belleville.
You can find out more information here, but from the sound of things they're going to be doing this every Thursday until it gets too cold, so keep your eyes peeled for more bike-in movie events in the future. This event is BYOB.
Social Cycling ATX Presents: Thursday Night Social Ride - To the movies!
This week the Social Ride is gonna go meet up and be social with another group of bikers, namely the League of Bicycling Voters people out at the bike-in movie. Read on for the details, and try to be on the bridge ON TIME:
Hey everyone. Thursday night is almost upon us so let me fill everyone in on the details. This week is movie night on the Thursday Night Social Ride.
Where: We meet the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.
When: 7:30pm. We are trying to leave a little before 8pm this week so don't be late.
What: We are biking to the Triangle. It's the shopping/condo building where Lamar meets Guadalupe. We're going to see the bike-in movie series to benefit the League of Bicycle Voters. This week they are showing Bottle Rocket outside on a nice grass lawn.
How we do this: We ride with trafffic. In other words, we stay in one lane, let cars pass and stop for all red lights. Please follow your designated ride leader's instructions. They are looking out for your safety.
What you need to bring: Helmets are a good idea, but that is up to you. You will need lights, a lock, and an ID if you plan to drink. A blanket to sit on while the movie plays is also a very good idea.
The movie series is a benefit for a really great local bicycle advocacy group called the League of Bicycle Voters (LOBV). The LOBV is a Texas non-profit agency that promotes safer cycling policies such as improved bicycle infrastructure making it easier for you and I to get around town. Admission for our group is FREE. However if you want to make the suggested $2 donation at the door, even better. Once inside, New Belgium brewing company is serving $3 beers, proceeds of which will be going to the LOBV... so drink up, watch a really funny movie and support cycling in Texas!
After the movie is over we are heading to The Ghost Room where the old Gingerman used to be. They'll have an iced down keg for us, cheap drink specials and a nice drink combo which consists of a shot of Jim Beam and a cold Pearl Beer for only $5!
In addition to all of the drink specials, The Ghost Room has booked a Texas music legend for our dancing pleasure. Erik Hokkanen will be entertaining us all evening so you fools better get ready to dance.
Remember we are trying to leave on time this week, so everyone try and be at the bridge a bit earlier than usual. Also, be watching your drinking on the bridge because the city is definitely keeping an eye on us. And a reminder that we will be moving the starting point for the ride very soon, so stay tuned for details.
See everyone at the bridge!
Free movie, live music, ice cold (and FREE) beer, and a whiskey deal that'll get you drunk. What better way to spend a Thursday night?
LOBV Presents: Movies at the Triangle! This Thursday: Bottle Rockets
Rob D'Amico sent out a reminder just a bit ago that tomorrow is the second of two Bike-In Movies hosted at The Triangle:
Admission is $2, and the proceeds go to support the League of Bicycling Voters and their many newly planned endeavors. If you're not on the social ride you should bike your ass over there to see the flick, drink some beer, and support a great Austin cycling advocacy organization. This week they're playing Bottle Rocket, Wes Anderson's directorial debut. Remember to bring a blanket or chair, as the ground might still be a little damp.
